If you grow up in Western Colorado and Northern New Mexico, as I did, you are bound to come away with a strong sense of independence and self-reliance. As these traits assert themselves, I strive to keep faith, love of family, strong work ethic, and integrity at the heart of everything I do.
Problem solving always piques my interest—the opportunity to be creative and figure something out, to affect positive change. In both large and small ways, it is important to me to be the catalyst for positive change in my various interactions—professional, social, volunteer. I have come to understand that, while the effect of big change is obvious, many seemingly small positive actions can make an equally weighty difference.
It has been my good fortune to be associated with many great people, not only in my personal life, but in my volunteer activity and professional life. Some of them have volunteered to add their thoughts here.
